Organic Pinot Grigio

The Tiamo Pinot Grigio is sourced from a certified organic vineyard near the town of Treviso in the Veneto wine growing region of Italy.

No oak is used in making the wine in order to keep it fresh and crisp but the wine is also floral and full of fruit due to the high quality of the organic grapes used in its production.

Organic Pinot Grigio

Veneto, Italy

Location/Origin

The Veneto region is ideally suited for the Pinot Grigio grape, where the particular composition of the hilly soil, the exposition to sun, the frequent rains and the constantly mild temperature between April and October combine to provide the best conditions. The grapes for Tiamo Pinot Grigio are sourced from a 35 acre, certified organic vineyard in this region, near the town of San Polo di Pave, in the heart of the fertile Treviso countryside.

Winemaking

After gentle pressing of the grapes and clarification of the must, primary fermentation takes place in temperature controlled stainless steel vats at 16°C (60°F) for 15 days. After fermentation is complete, the wine is stored at 17–18°C (63°F) until bottling.

Tasting Notes & Food Pairing

Tiamo Pinot Grigio has fresh rich aromas of apples and pears with hints of citrus that fade into a floral bouquet and on the palate it is bright and fresh with wonderful fruit flavors
