Le CharmelExceptional Wine Finds from France
About Le Charmel
Le Charmel is a new line of exceptional wine finds from different parts of France, including a Red Rhone, a Muscadet sur lie, a Pinot Noir and a Cote de Provence rose.
“Le Charmel” refers to the father-son partnership of Charlie and Mel Master who source these wines.
Sèvre et Maine sur lie A.O.C.
Le Charmel Muscadet Sèvre et Maine comes from a superb 75 acre single estate in the village of Gorges which is located in the Eastern part of the Loire Valley near the Atlantic town of Nantes.
The wine has beautiful aromas of pears and melons and is very delicate and refined on the palate. It has lovely mineral notes and a long crisp finish.
Costieres de Nimes, Rhône Valley, France
Our Syrah-Grenache comes from a superb vineyard in the Costieres de Nimes which is located in the South of the Rhône Valley, on the right (West) bank of the river.
Our Rhône wine is a beautiful wine with generous aromas of blackberries, chocolate and spice.
Pays d’Oc, France
This wine shows deep in color, with ruby tints. It has scents of red and black berries mixed with floral notes, together with hints of delicate spices and vanilla. On the palate, it displays aromas of crushed black fruits such as raspberries, black currants, cherries and black-cherry jam. This wine is complex, rich and long with well integrated tannins.
